Tomsin was a Tellarite and Starfleet officer in the early 25th century. He served as Operations officer aboard the
U.S.S. Ragnarok. He was accidentally transporter-duplicated, creating another Tomsin. He also had an identical twin brother, which he loathed, and led him to adopt and command a fight-ready quasi-energy microbe which could be activated by transporter.
