Kayl was a Starfleet and Operations officer at rank Lieutenant aboard the
U.S.S. Phoenix-X where she, against her wishes, was genetically enhanced in a way that made her a telepathic human. She later became lost in time to 2344, upon Narendra III, where she had a child with the alien Klokian and named her
RaeLuna. When she was old, a molecular reversion field turned her young again and she re-joined the
Phoenix-X.
